This is what BMW's calling 2008 as it prepares for its most important launch of the year, if not the decade: the 1 Series coupe and convertible. The 1 Series represents a new level of affordable BMW performance in North America — it is expected to draw in many new customers to the luxury brand. To commemorate the occasion, each 2008 model comes with a special start-stop button engraved with Year One Of The 1. Other customer goodies include a certificate of authenticity and premium coffee-table book chronicling the car's development.
